Inside the classroom, you鈥檒l receive a strong liberal arts education and choose one of six areas of study: journalism, public relations, radio and television, communication studies, recording industry and recording technology. You鈥檒l also have access to media professionals throughout the southeast who serve as guest lecturers and attend ASU seminars and workshops, like the Ida B. Wells Lecture Series.
Outside the classroom, you鈥檒l get the real-world experience you need to succeed. Every student is required to complete a practicum or internship before graduation, and the university鈥檚 radio station, , and ASU鈥檚 partnerships with area newspapers, PR firms, TV and radio stations, marketing agencies and magazines give you an edge and let you discover your future career.
