COVID 19

The 海角直播 Health Center offer services to ensure your safety and well-being while on campus. We are working diligently during this pandemic to mitigate the spread of COVID 19 on campus. Please see detailed information below:

COVID-19

We must all work together to stop the spread of this very contagious virus. Wearing a facial covering, social distancing, and frequent handwashing/using hand sanitizers are important steps you and our ASU family can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are Fever, Cough, Headaches, Fatigue, Muscle or Body Aches, Loss of Taste/Smell, Sore throat, Nausea, Diarrhea, etc. If someone has trouble breathing, chest pains, or difficulty staying awake, seek medical care immediately (Campus Police 334-229-4400).

COVID Testing

If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, request an appointment .

ASU will continue the Sentinel (random) COVID testing each semester. All faculty, staff, and students should check their ASU email account every Sunday to see if they have been randomly selected to take a COVID-19 test during the week. Those who are randomly selected for COVID-19 sentinel testing are required to test, as indicated in the email notification.

If you test positive for COVID- 19, you MUST isolate for five days. If your test is performed on campus, instructions will be given to you. If you test off-campus, you MUST immediately contact COVID Support by submitting your information . If you reside on campus you must contact Residential Life BEFORE entering into any residence hall. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary consequences.

Things to know

Per our protocols on campus, you MUST wait five days before re-testing after testing positive.
Test on campus occurs through sentinel testing, those presenting with symptoms, and those identified through contact tracing.
Any test performed off-campus with a positive result must be reported immediately to COVID Support. Home test results are not accepted.
Contact tracing is defined, as close contact within 6 feet or less, for 15 minutes or more.
If you have additional questions or concerns, don鈥檛 hesitate to contact us.
